At NEA, 100% of our high school scholars graduate with a plan — spiritually grounded, academically prepared, and career-focused.
Every NEA high school track is designed to prepare scholars for post-secondary education and/or a strong career in their chosen field. With 4 tracks and 70 career pathways, scholars don’t have to choose between college or career, they can do both.

The NEA High School Traditional Track is for scholars that are not in the Nehemiah Early College Academy. All scholars will earn the required credits for college entrance.
Who is the hs Traditional track for?
The NEA High School Traditional Track is for scholars in grades 9-12 seeking to earn a high school diploma prepared for the workforce, and/or two-year or four-year college study. All scholars are required to meet the 25 credit graduation minimum to earn a high school diploma.
courses and Instruction
Scholars will have access to hundreds of courses and 70 career pathways to choose from. Scholars receive asynchronous (independent) and synchronous (online teacher led) instruction. Each course is taught and graded with a certified teacher. All courses are aligned to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study and meet North Carolina graduation requirements.

- College and Course Advisement
- College courses for grades 11-12 are FREE (excluding textbooks) at NC community colleges through the NC Career and College Promise Program.
- Students can choose to earn an associates degree while in college or transfer credit to a four-year college or university.
