About
NECA is the early college academy of Nehemiah Enrichment Academy. We are accepting students in-person. Our early college program will prepare students to earn college credit during grades 11-12. Students have the option to earn an associate degree or college credit to transfer to a four-year university. Our early college academy is open to grades 6-10. Though middle school students will not take college courses, they will be prepared academically to perform successfully when they are eligible to take college classes.
Who is NECA for?
Students in grades 6-10 who are committed and self-disciplined will be successful in the early college environment with our teams of support.
What curriculum will be used?
Students will receive instruction from certified teachers engaging in curriculum from Edmentum. All courses are aligned to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study and meet NC graduation requirements.
What does NECA offer?
- Bible and Character Education
- Adulting and Financial Education
- College Prep Courses (Grades 6-9)
- College courses for grades 11-12 are FREE (excluding textbooks) at NC community colleges through the NC Career and College Promise Program.
- Students can choose to earn an associates degree while in college or transfer credit to a four-year college or university.
