The NEA Trades Prep and Certification Track provides nine skilled trades programs with employer recognized credibility. The certification tracks are below:
- Appliances
- Clean Energy
- Electrical
- Facilities Maintenance
- HVAC
- Multifamily Maintenance
- Plumbing
- Residential Construction
- Solar
- Prepared for apprenticeships
- Must meet 25 credit minimum for graduation
Who is the Trades track for?
The Trades Track is for scholars who desire to be trained and certified in a trade.
courses and Instruction
Scholars will have access to hundreds of courses and 70 career pathways to choose from. Scholars receive asynchronous (independent) and synchronous (online teacher led) instruction. Each course is taught and graded with a certified teacher. All courses are aligned to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study and meet North Carolina graduation requirements.
